Terms & conditions

Last updated 22 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Optivance, the optical care operating system for optometry and ophthalmology practices. By using the service you agree to them. This is a plain-language summary and not a substitute for the signed agreement provided during onboarding.

Using the service

We grant your practice a non-exclusive licence to use Optivance for managing your practice. You're responsible for the accuracy of the clinical and commercial data you enter and for how your staff use their accounts.

Subscriptions & billing

Optivance is billed per branch in Naira on a recurring cycle agreed at onboarding. You can add or remove branches; changes apply from the next cycle. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Your data

Your data remains yours. We process it to provide the service and protect it as described in our privacy policy. On termination you can export your records, and we'll delete them on request after a reasonable wind-down period.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, and design it to keep the front desk moving through connectivity and power interruptions. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service except where a specific SLA is agreed.

Acceptable use

Don't use Optivance unlawfully, attempt to breach its security, or use it to process data you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that put patient data or the service at risk.

Liability

Optivance is a tool to support your practice; clinical decisions remain the responsibility of your providers. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions? Get in touch.
